Santa Monica Hotel

Designed by Kelly Wearstler, Santa Monica Proper Hotel is a refined coastal destination where architecture, design and cultural narrative converge.

The art curation was developed to echo the hotel’s identity, drawing on the climate, history and visual language of Santa Monica.

Sculptural works, textural canvases and site-specific pieces were selected to reflect coastal references, from sand and shell to light-driven installations.

Integrated throughout the public spaces, the collection brings depth and storytelling to the interiors, creating a layered guest experience.
